1) Who we are

Lantern Life Services provides grief coaching and Sacred Embrace Studio sessions (trauma-informed, strictly non-sexual comfort care), plus related educational content. Sessions are offered by Ashley Johnson, CGC, EOLD.

2) Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site or our services.

3) Age & eligibility

You must be 18+ to book or receive services. For any youth-focused offerings, a parent/guardian must provide written consent and be present as required.

4) Not medical, mental health, or massage therapy

Our services are educational, coaching, spiritual/comfort-care in nature and not medical care, psychotherapy, or massage therapy, and do not diagnose, treat, or cure conditions. Always seek your physician/therapist for medical or mental-health needs. If you are in crisis, call 988 (US) or your local emergency number. (See full Disclaimer.)

5) Sacred Embrace Studio boundaries

Sacred Embrace sessions are strictly non-sexual, consent-based, and trauma-informed. Any sexualized behavior, harassment, or boundary violations result in immediate termination of the session without refund and a permanent ban.

6) Booking, payments, cancellations, refunds

  • Scheduling: Sessions are booked online through our scheduling system. Your appointment is confirmed after payment.

  • Rescheduling/Cancellation: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations/no-shows may be charged the full fee.

  • Late arrivals: If you’re late, your session may be shortened to end on time; full fee applies.

  • Refunds: All coaching/comfort sessions are non-refundable once rendered. Prepaid packages/special events may have additional terms shown at checkout.

  • Illness & safety: If you’re sick or recently exposed to a contagious illness, contact us to reschedule. We may reschedule or refuse service to protect client safety.

7) Client responsibilities

You agree to: (a) provide accurate information; (b) honor all boundaries and consent; (c) use services for lawful, appropriate purposes; (d) refrain from recording sessions without written permission.

8) Results not guaranteed

Every person’s process is unique. We do not guarantee outcomes or specific results.

9) Intellectual property

All website content, session materials, branding, photos, and text are owned by Lantern Life Services, LLC or its licensors and protected by IP laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10) Testimonials

Client statements reflect individual experiences; they are not guarantees. Some testimonials may have been edited for clarity/length and used with permission.

11) Third-party tools & links

We use third-party services (e.g., scheduling/checkout). Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We aren’t responsible for external sites.

12) Prohibited uses

You may not misuse the site, attempt to access data without authorization, harass others, or infringe IP. We may suspend access for violations.

13) Assumption of risk; release

By participating, you understand the nature of coaching/comfort-care and assume any inherent risks (e.g., emotional triggers). To the fullest extent allowed by law, you release Lantern Life from claims arising from your voluntary participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

14) Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or services will not exceed the amount you paid for the session at issue.

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lantern Life harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site/services or violation of these Terms.

16) Changes to services or terms

We may modify offerings, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Updates are effective upon posting with a new “Last updated” date.

17) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflicts rules. Venue lies in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
